Demand-Supply Gap To Push Property Prices In Top Indian Cities

There will be a shortfall of about 600,000 housing units under mid and high-end categories across eight cities in India during 2012-16 with Bengaluru expecting to witness the highest demand-supply gap for both MIG and HIG housing, followed by Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.  As a result, property prices in these cities are likely to appreciate during this period, according to a study.
