Gita and Its Relevance to Modern Life

One day my son came up to me with a few questions.
“Father, did Lord Krishna ever exist?”
“Did he create the famous Bhagavad Gita in the battlefield of Kurukshetra?”
“As God, he could have stopped the war and avoided bloodshed, couldn't he? Why didn't he do that?”
I was not surprised to hear such questions from him as chanting The Gita forms a daily activity in his school, which tries to sow the goodness of The Gita in the young minds. Even today, I felt his questions have relevance.
