Making Energy Efficient Homes, Naturally

When he founded Biodiversity Conservation India (BCIL) in the early 1990s, people used to relate 'green' to colour and not for ecology. As the Earth is being confronted with several ecological problems, respecting nature and not going against it become imperative for humans for their survival. This is what Chandrashekar and his team members have been doing – bringing nature to people’s doorstep. Chandrashekar Hariharan, Chairman of BCIL, speaks about the advantages of building energy efficient homes, his commitment to protect the nature and what the industry needs from the government to make more eco-friendly homes across the country.
