Moving forward from bubble-gum issue

The “Chewing-Gum” controversy has made hot headlines world-wide. We, Indians, are very sensitive about such things and particular about following protocols. Yes, the US head of the state was caught on camera chewing gum while our Prime Minister Narendra Modi was having a word with him during the Republic Day parade function. So what? What is there to be so irked about?
