Ever since the ‘cut-off’ mark system was introduced to get an admission to Anna University and its affiliated colleges—after scraping the common admission test—students are being subjected to hardships – mentally and physically.
For state board students, sadly, they can’t aspire to crack the IITs and other central university entrances by just relying on their academic knowledge. Thanks to the curriculum, they have no option but to depend on their cut-off marks to get into colleges in the state under Anna University, irrespective of their reputation.
